The Chief Executive Officer heads the Organisation which is made up of six divisions:

• Corporate Services
• City Services
• Sustainable Development
• Community and Recreation
• Major Projects Urban Planning

Each division is headed by a General Manager or Director. The divisions are made up of a number of business units or departments overseen by a respective manager who reports directly to the relevant General Manager or Director. The departments identified with staff who are potential candidates for the Professional Development Program are:

• Corporate Property Engineering Services
• Infrastructure Operations
• City Development
• Urban Design
